Patricia Wandia

Patricia Wandia is a research intern at OpenDevEd. She is currently a Masters student of Education for Global Policies (GLOBED) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Cyprus. Her interest in education is shaped by her personal educational journey that spans three continents. Along the way, She developed a fascination for education systems and how they function to empower individuals and the people around them.  She is a certified Wikipedia Trainer of Trainers (TOT) and has previously worked in the USA and in Kenya piloting a digital training program for secondary school teachers. In her spare time, she likes to go on walks, sit in the grass on sunny days or watch documentaries.

Laiqua Andleeb

Laiqua is a research intern at OpenDevEd. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree under the GLOBED International Master’s in Education Policies for Global Development. She is inclined towards social justice in education and the educational rights of children. She has experience working in the educational technology sector under the Government of Pakistan. Additionally, she runs a volunteer-based non-profit organization focused on the education of child laborers working in the brick kilns of Islamabad. Laiqua enjoys arts and theatre and reads Urdu poetry in her free time.
